PRINCESS OF LITTLE CARPATHIANS: VYSOK√Ā

The Little Carpathian mountain range.

Gently rounded hills, winding roads and the pine forests.

Mysterious and romantic castle ruins, ancient Celtic settlements, sea of white snowdrops, whisper of an historic windmill, the oldest church in Central Europe, a Romanesque building standing alone in a field of wheat.

And these 11 mountains! Higher than Eiffel tower and smaller than Burj Kalifa.

Havranica (717m), Zaruby (767m), Celo (716m), Veterlin (724m), Vapenna (752m), Vysoka (754m), Velka Homola (709m), Skalnata (704m), Certov kopec (752m), Javorina (703m), Cmelok (709m).

From the bicycle saddle, raidable within one day. In hiking boots, surmountable within two.

The only one is Vysoka. A princess of Little Carpathians.
