Veni, vidi, vici.
These immortal Caesar’s words accompany us on our journeys to the mountains. As we explore the views and search for something invisible. Mountains are our teachers. They teach and force us to stay calm. To enjoy the power of the present moment, just as written by Eckhard Tolle. They teach us to overcome the challenges. To pushing the envelope. Or to wake up our inside angel or devil.
And it happened as we looked at Roháče, the second largest mountain in Slovakia. Because the name Roháče (in Slovak language the word „roh“ means „horn“) comes from the shape of the two peaks Ostrý Roháč (Sharp horn) and Plačlivé (Tearful), which together forms „the devil´s horns“.
